Ella T. Holmes (she/they) always dreamed of being a Mad Hatter, Trojan horse, or a cunning princess who is definitely not a witch, but reality intervened. She maintains corporeal existence by patting cats, writing, and being confused about human behaviour.

She compiled, edited, and illustrated the disability in fantasy anthology ‘Artifice & Access’ in 2025. Her work has been published in Antithesis, The Bitchin’ Kitsch, Orca, Portside Review, and Aurealis. She is also a Best Of The Net nominee (2024).

She is on Substack as Ella Has Thoughts, where she posts think pieces about writing, storytelling, and media.
